I was born in Cameroon, in a place where ancient tribal traditions were followed. I was orally and spiritually introduced to those customs by my mother, a traditional singer, and my father, a tribal chief. My musical practice is based on the initiation songs of the coast of Cameroon, part of the Kingdom of Kongo.
