The title means "The tears of Pharaoh's descendants". This melody was formerly performed by pirogue seamen during races, or by fishermen wishing for plenty of fish. I sing about the continent that gave birth to one of the humanity's greatest civilizations and then lost its human values. I hope those will come back thanks to the strength of its ancient power.
