The title means: "What is to be done, mama?" The melody used to be sung by dignitaries -men as well as women- nine days after a burial to escort the soul and spirit of a deceased in the Netherworld. As an orphan, I sing to ask my late mother and father, wherever they are, to provide me with energy.
